Darius Hicks' "Signature"

The founder of Vishnu Springs, Darius Hicks carved his name into the foundation of the Capitol Hotel when it opened in 1889. Dave stumbled on the old carving through blind luck within five minutes of arriving on site... it happened to be the exact spot he first approached the building. He just looked down... It's on the east wall, near the southeast corner, south of the basement entry door.
